Loved the product. Had an issue with delivery. They handled it perfectly. Would definetly purchase again.
At WG, we typically get 20-30 fires out of a single pack, however the exact number will depend on your firemaking experience and the conditions. In summer when it’s hot and dry, you can get away with using a smaller amount. If your kindling is saturated, you will want to use more.
Spark Fiber is made from the pulp fiber of American White Pine, which is a byproduct of sustainably managed logging operations on the east coast of the USA. The pine pulp chips are virgin and are reclaimed from the timber industry. The chips are cooked in a pressurized vessel which naturally sterilizes them with steam to remove any pathogens that may exist. The fiber is then dried and packed.
Although the burn time of Spark Fiber can last a few minutes, you will still need to use kindling when building a fire.
Spark Fiber comes ready to go, straight out of the box. No fluffing, cutting or shredding is needed. Do not squeeze Spark Fiber together into a ball, as you will crush all the small fibers that are important for lighting a fire. Simply remove a pinch from the container and place under your kindling.
